A rare and beautiful pair of Dalmatian dogs were handed into an animal home after their owners' relationship fell apart.

Penny and Purdy, both 7-years-old, arrived at the Mayhew Animal Home in Trenmar Gardens, Kensal Green at the beginning of August after their owners, a couple, split up.

Both pretty pooches are very friendly and laid back. They love having cuddles and are on the look out for a loving home.

Penny and Purdy were handed into the Mayhew becasue their owners split up.

Mayhew Animal Home chief executive Caroline Yates said: “It’s always sad for the adults and children when relationships break down but people forget it’s the animals who suffer greatly as well.

“Penny and Purdy are lovely dogs who are used to a family environment.

“They have no idea why they ended up at The Mayhew Animal Home or what’s happened to their family let alone where they are going next.

“They really deserve a loving secure family home.”
