A cyclist was injured in a crash on the A40 close to the Hoover building yesterday morning (20).
Huge delays were reported as two lanes were shut while the air ambulance's road crew, a specialist trauma team, was brought in to take the man to Charing Cross Hospital.
The bike and a black Range Rover collided at around 7.50am at the junction with Alperton Lane.
Cars were diverted through Greenford and onto the Uxbridge Road while emergency services cleared the damage.
The victim's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
