CRANFORD Community College is celebrating its best ever results, with 79 per cent A*-C grades.

More than a quarter of results (26 per cent) were A* or A, with a 98 per cent pass rate and an average points score per student of 621.

Star performers included:

Safwan Khan, with four A*s, is going to read maths at Cambridge University

Pargatdeep Toor got three A*s and an A, and is off to UCL to read maths

Karishma Lal bagged an A* and three As, and will now read economics at UCL

Tejal Chhaya got three As and is off to Warwick University to read physics

Jasmeet Gill, with three As grades, is heading to Nottingham University to read physics

Executive head teacher Kevin Prunty said: "We are incredibly proud of the excellent A-levels achieved by all our students this year.

"These results exceed targets, represent so many 'personal bests' and together have moved Cranford to new heights in the performance tables."
