One hundred and fifty bags of cocaine and 35 rocks of ‘crack’ seized – not a bad day at the office for Hillingdon Police .

The haul has been assessed following another day of Operation Big Wing , the Met Police, London-wide drive to catch alleged drug dealers, burglars and wanted individuals.

During the day of raids on Thursday, July 24, Hillingdon officers say they seized the cocaine haul at one address in Wise Lane, West Drayton and arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs.

The rocks of ‘crack’ cocaine were reportedly found when officers raided a flat in Cochrane House in Trumper Way , Uxbridge.

In all, 46 people were arrested during the day, for a range of alleged offences including robbery, burglary, assault and public order offences. Of the people arrested, eight were officially ‘wanted’, with warrants out for their arrest.

All will appear in court in due course.
