A 27-YEAR-OLD man from Northolt has appeared in court charged with killing a Harrow girl on Christmas Day.
Manzar Juma, of Hexham Gardens, faced a single count of the murder of Ruby Love, 23, on December 25 when he was brought from prison to Brent Magistrates' Court this morning.
The victim's body was spotted floating in the Grand Union Canal in Bankside, Southall, west London, by a passer-by at 11.40am on Christmas Day.

A post-mortem examination held on Monday at Uxbridge Mortuary could not establish a formal cause of death pf Ms Love and the police await the results of further tests.
Ms Love is believed to live with her mother Precious in The Meadow Way, Harrow Weald.
Juma, who wore grey long-sleeved top and white trousers, and had cropped dark hair and a short beard, was remanded back into custody as magistrates sent his case to the Old Bailey.
There will be a bail hearing at the Old Bailey on January 3 and a plea and case management hearing on March 23.
