A couple are offering a reward for the safe return of their youngest puppy after he was stolen from their car at Tesco's car park in Feltham yesterday (Monday).

Mike and Olga Morrison of Feltham had their beloved cocker spaniel taken away from them just hours after they had collected their brood of five on their return from a holiday. They are eager to get six-month-old Madiba back and are offering a reward for his safe return home.

A friend of the couple, Amanda Newman, is helping the Morrison's who are extremely devastated especially as they have had Madiba since he was born.

Ms Newman who live across the border in Ashford, said: "My friends came back from holiday and had driven down to pick their dogs up - they have five. This puppy is the son of one of the other dogs so it's very sentimental for them.

"They had popped in to get milk (from Tesco on Feltham High Street around 4pm)...and came back and found only four pups. They were gone for about 10 minutes."

The case of the stolen puppy has taken to the social media site Twitter where support to find Madiba has grown. Ms Newman has also printed dozens of flyers which were being distributed in the Feltham area.

Unfortunately there are no CCTV cameras at the Tesco site but police are believed to be looking into the incident.

Ms Newman thanked everyone that has offered their support.

Last week a chihuahua was found three days after it ran away during a dog walk in Hanworth. If you find or spot Madiba call Amanda Newman on 07807033292.
