I am a 62-year-old pensioner who has lived in the borough of Ealing all of my life.
On reading the article in the Gazette and also the national papers regarding the £12,000 a month Acton property, I felt I had to express my feelings and outrage that Ealing Council continues to waste money.
I can assure you I do not have a 50" plasma screen, iPod or all the latest computer games. The Saindi family implied that everybody has all of these items, so they are entitled to them - I do not think so.
I have an eight-year-old grand-daughter who was born in this country, whose mother was also born in this country and they are still in temporary accommodation. They have had five moves in her short life and are still awaiting a permanent home. All of the accommodation provided for them has been of an inferior nature and their current place is alive with rats.
My parents were council tenants for 48 years and, after my father died, we could not even get the council to do the smallest jobs for my mother, such as decorating.
In response to the comment made by Mr Saindi that 'their house in Afghanistan was huge compared to this one and they would have given such space to chickens to walk around in', I would like to say, "swap places with my granddaughter and live with the rats."
He also admits that he is going to take advantage of Ealing Council to get as much as he can. What planet, I ask, is Ealing Council on? It certainly isn't Planet Earth.
I am not a racist but I am sick to death with people coming into this country and complaining about what they are given - if it is that bad, I say go back to the country of your birth.
Unfortunately, because there are so many people here taking advantage of the system, people who have paid their taxes do not get what they deserve.
