A Portobello Road market trader has been charged after police found counterfeit brands such as Chanel and Louis Vuitton.

An investigation by Kensington and Chelsea trading standards officers found a trader was selling fake goods with big brand names also including Hermes and Bulgari.

Li Xieu was arrested last Saturday (November 29) and charged with six offences under the Trade Marks Act 1994.

The investigation was a joint operation with the trading standards officers and the newly formed Kensington and Chelsea Community Police Team.

Li Xieu will appear at West London Magistrates Court at 10am on Monday 15 December to answer six charges under the Trade Marks Act 1994.
