A fire gutted a cricket team's clubhouse in Hatch End just hours after play had finished on the pitch.

A fire gutted a cricket team's clubhouse in Hatch End just hours after play had finished on the pitch.

The pavilion in Shaftesbury Playing Fields in Grimsdyke Road went up in flames at 7.30pm on Saturday (14) hours after home club Hatch End CC's match against Old Camdenians CC had been called off.

Det Con Figo Forouzan, of Harrow Police's CID, is appealing for witnesses and has asked anyone with information to call 0208 733 3482.
