CHISWICK Park joined forces with organisations from around the globe to celebrate Earth Day with staff giving their time to community projects.

Volunteers from the Chiswick High Road office park, participated in environmental efforts around London including restoring the Japanese Garden in Gunnersbury Park and maintaining historic shrubbery in Kew Gardens.

Over 200 office workers from major corporations based at the office park, such as Starbucks, Discovery and Sky got involved with the project on April 22.

Kay Chaston, Chief Executive of Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work, said: "The environment and the future is very important to us here at Chiswick Park.

"We are striving as an organisation to work for a better future for those who will follow in our footsteps. Taking one day out of our busy working lives to give something back to the community and the environment is a small return for all we have taken in the past."
