Youngsters cooked up a feast of delights during a healthy schools week to raise money for charity.

The pupils of Aston House Junior School, in Ealing, made smoothies, sandwiches and couscous during a 'Ready Steady Cook' workshop.

Children aged between four and seven were taught the importance of healthy eating while raising money for the NSPCC.

Headmistress Paula Seabrook said the whole school enjoyed the 'Nutricious and Delicious' workshop.

Mrs Seabrook said: "All the children had a great time and went home with lots of ideas on how to be healthy.

"Our aim is to secure long term healthy eating and healthy living goals by getting the children excited and engaged about healthy eating.

"We wanted to make the children aware of how to look after their bodies."
