A motorcyclist has died after being hit by a car on Wednesday morning (October 4).
At 6.41am on Wednesday (October 4) police were called to a collision between a Toyota Prius and a Honda motorcycle on Cheyne Walk at Chelsea Embankment.
The motorcyclist was a 35-year-old male who initially suffered head injuries but has now been pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.

Chelsea Embankment reopened to traffic this afternoon after a fatal crash at the Chelsea Embankment junction with Battersea Bridge this morning.
The three cordons in place along Chelsea Embankment following the incident have been lifted and traffic has returned to normal.
A 35-year-old motorcyclist died at the scene following a collision with a Toyota Prius at 6:38 am.
He is yet to be formally identified by the police.
The Toyota driver stopped at the scene of the collision but was not arrested.
A police investigation into what happened has been launched and is ongoing.

Police were called to to the scene of a serious collision at the North end of Battersea Bridge at 6.38am on Wednesday (October 4).
They found a 35-year-old male motorcyclist with head injuries.
London Ambulance service also attended the scene and are treating the man.

Traffic is heavy at both ends of Battersea Bridge and several diversions are in place.
