Julia has lived in Kensington and Chelsea for all her adult life and is well known in the constituency for her 'green' credentials - she is passionate about preserving and enhancing the quality of life in this unique part of London. In the last Assembly elections, Julia gained over 11% of the vote.

She is a prolific freelance journalist, writing regular lifestyle articles for the Daily Mail, as well for many other newspapers and magazines. She writes a regular environmental column for the Independent based on her experiences of `greening up' her own flat.

She is installing cutting edge solar panels and has just applied for the first windmill in Kensington and Chelsea. Within six months she will manufacture enough electricity to be entirely self sufficient in her energy needs as well as have enough left over to sell back to the National Grid.

Julia campaigns energetically to improvepublic transport (supporting the river bus service),fight to ban 4x4s from our congested roads whilstensuring education, top class health care and safestreets are at the top of the agenda.

When not campaigning on behalf of the Green partyJulia also works as an author and television journalist.

Julia has published two bestselling novels, Pandora's Diamond and Chalet Tiara.
