Charities and good causes in Kensington and Chelsea can bid for a share of more than £2 million in council grants over the next two years.

Councillors are calling on organisations that are ‘well governed, financially sound and have a track record of success’ to apply for the grants programme for 2015 to 2017.

The closing date is Friday September 26.

Councillor Gerard Hargreaves, Cabinet Member for Voluntary Organisations and Resident Engagement, said: “I’m very pleased that despite great pressures on the council's finances we’re able to make funding available to support the work of voluntary and community groups in the borough.”
