A luxury home technology specialist to royals and celebrities has won an international award for an £80,000 home cinema in Chelsea .

Finite Solutions, based in Bagleys Lane, Fulham, won the top accolade for Best Home Cinema between the value of £40,000 and £100,000 by the worldwide design and home electronic systems governing body, Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA).

The winning home cinema system was named What Lies Beneath by the company as they had to install it into the client’s basement.

It includes a big screen complete with surround sound and comfortable cinema seats with the projector and speaker system concealed in suede covering.

The home cinema is extra comfortable

Phil Cotton, director of Finite Solutions, said: “You can’t get better than CEDIA for recognition of excellence. It has a very strict judging criterion which looks at the technical delivery as well as the overall aesthetic and meeting the client brief.

“Our client was delighted with the result which is used for family cinema nights and sports viewing. This award backs up our proposition as London’s leading specialist in upmarket, bespoke home cinema solutions.”

The company - which has installed home cinemas for an Oscar winning movie composer, an Arab prince, celebrity TV chef and billionaire football club owner - has also been shortlisted for the International Design and Architecture awards for its £110,000 home cinema project in Mayfair.
