Hairdresser to the stars, Lee Stafford, made a trip to Ruislip to inspire stylists to be creative.

The celebrity stylist caught the attention of passers by when he spent the day at Hair & Beauty Workshop in High Street, Ruislip.

Manager Jane Baverstock and hairdressers at the salon had created a welcome sign for Lee, who has recently become a new dad with his wife and The Real Hustle star Jessica-Jane Clement.

Mrs Baverstock said: "He loved the banner we made and was a true gentleman and very down to earth.

"He did three different haircuts which were all amazing and it was very exciting to have him in the salon."

The flash floods that hit Ruislip on Monday, July 28, almost scuppered the salons plan's of welcoming Mr Stafford.

"The salon flooded by six inches and I was devastated," Mrs Baverstock said. "I thought we'd have to cancel, it was a very dramatic day but everyone mucked in, worked hard and we were all set to welcome Lee."

The award-winning hairdresser, who has his own product range, gave the Hair & Beauty stylists an inspirational talk before sharing tips during demonstrations of the new season's cuts, colours and styles.
