A CANNABIS factory containing 700 plants with a street value of over £100,000 has been discovered.
South Ruislip Safer Neighbourhood Team found the factory at a house in Northolt Avenue,South Ruislip, last week.
The officers forced their way into the rented four-bedroom detached bungalow after tip-offs from locals and electricity company EDF Energy, concerned about the high use of power.
All the rooms contained plants and equipment for the cultivation and harvesting of cannabis. The house had been rewired with sophisticated equipment to by-pass the electricity meter, and a ventilation system was in place to assist with the plant growth.
The property has now been boarded up and no arrests have been made, but police are continuing their investigation.
