Police trying to identify a man whose body was found under a railway bridge in Hounslow have released this image.

The man, believed to have been aged around 25, was discovered dead by a member of the public on July 8 under a footbridge near Inwood Park.

Officers from Hounslow Missing Persons Unit have appealed for the public's help to identify the man, whose death is not being treated as suspicious.

A white male of slim build, he was wearing a dark grey hooded top with light grey cuffs, a waistband and edging to the hood. He also had on blue jeans, which were too large for him, a black belt and white Nike trainers.

Police said he did not appear to be sleeping rough as his clothes were clean and he looked well-kempt.

Detective Constable Christine Evans, of Hounslow Missing Persons Unit, said. "We are releasing this image and asking for the public's help to indentify this man. Please contact police if you have any information; it may be your assistance which helps us find this man's family."

getwestlondon revealed last week how the man in question was the most recently discovered of 233 unidentified bodies on the books of the Metropolitan Police.
