ARE WE to believe that Mr and Mrs Keen are now so embarrassed and ashamed of their various extortionate expense claims that they have reluctantly chosen to not to attend any photo opportunity which could be produced in your paper?

As Mrs Keen especially would attend the opening of an envelope if it meant a picture of her being published, it would appear they have left the excuses to the usual suspects who will jump to their defence with the now tiring 'they have not broken any rules' etc yet always fail to justify exactly why this champagne socialist couple have and needed to claim so much money from the public purse?

One of your regular contributors from Southall who has a particular interest in defending this couple asked me in your letters page a couple of weeks ago about the Ivybridge and Worton estates and what I was doing in this area.

Well, I like to think I can walk through either of these estates with my head held high as in all parts of Isleworth, and that's because I actually care about all my constituents whatever political party they may follow and will fight tooth and nail for their interests - which is a lot more than either of the Keens could ever claim.
