To celebrate two decades of Friends fans have the chance to sit on the famous Central Perk sofa for one day only in Kensington.

The iconic faded orange sofa which appeared in all 236 episodes will be at the Tesco Kensington superstore in West Cromwell Road on October 11.

British coffee capsules brand CaféPod, which are Nespresso machine compatible, has teamed up with Warner Brothers to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the show by going on a tour of the UK with a replica sofa from the fictional coffee shop, Central Perk.

The original was auctioned off in 2011 at the Icons of Hollywood sale and was estimated to sell for between $4,000 and $6,000 at the time.

Fans will be able to replicate scenes from the series by posing on the sofa with a free cup of CaféPod coffee while they snap a selfie of themselves using the hashtag #Friends20th on twitter or Instagram.

There will also be a chance to win a trip to the home city of Ross, Rachel, Monica, Joey, Phoebe and Chandler which not only includes flights from London to New York for a three night hotel stay for two, but also a guided tour of Friends’ filming locations, including the friends’ apartments.

Visit cafepod.com/friends until January 31, 2015 to win a trip to New York or special edition Friends box sets.
