A BRUNEL University singing sensation is hoping to take her career to the next level with a concert to raise tuition funds for a prestigious college.
Keisha Amponsa Banson, reached the fifth stage of the BBC's I'd Do Anything programme, where singers compete to win the role of Nancy in a West End production.
The 23-year-old student has since won a scholarship at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, based in Wood Green, but needs to raise cash to pay the fees.
She said: "I was worried that my dream of becoming a West End performer would be cut short if I didn't find a way to raise the extra cash."
On Friday, the Harrow based singer will be performing her show, A Little Bit of Love - Showcase for Keisha, at the university.
"I decided on the name for the concert as I wanted to show the gratitude I felt for all the encouragement I received from others who believed in me and pushed me to do my best - I'm just repaying the favour."
The show, which features popular West End and Broadway hits, will be held in the Howell Theatre at the Kingston Lane, Uxbridge, campus.
Doors open at 7.30pm, with the concert starting at 8pm.
Tickets cost £10 for adults, £7 for students and pensioners and £5 for children.
