A thug who slashed the face of a former friend in a "vicious attack" has been jailed.

Ammir Khan, 22, will serve six years for the savage assault, which happened outside the Nestle factory in North Hyde Gardens, Hayes, in September last year.

The victim, who was 20 at the time, also suffered multiple fractures to his face and a deep laceration 10ins long on his cheek.

Ammir's younger brother Zammir, 21, filmed part of the attack on his mobile phone, later seized as evidence and played in court.

Ammir Khan, 22, of Black Rod Close, Hayes, jailed for six years for GBH wounding with intent.

The court heard that the victim and the two brothers had once been friends, but they fell out in 2012 because the victim "believed that [Ammir and Zammir Khan] were involved in getting his brother sent to prison," said prosecutor Lyall Thompson.

They crossed paths by chance whilst both were driving in Hayes at around 5.30pm on September 29, and were stopped at traffic lights.

The victim was on his way to meet his brother, and was followed.

CCTV played in court showed Ammir getting out of his Volkswagen and picking up a stick from the road.

"He struck the windscreen of [the victim's] car. The victim and his brother at that point drove into the Nestle car park, and the defendants' group followed," said Mr Thompson.

"They then deliberately struck both cars, and the victim was forced into a corner."

He got out but ran straight into an enclosed metal fence and was trapped. He tried to climb the fence, but was dragged from the railings. His trousers and underwear were pulled down in the process. The whole incident lasted about three minutes.

The victim had his nose, left cheek, eye socket and upper jaw fractured, and a penknife on Khan's car keys inflicted the facial wound. He has since made a good recovery.

Zammir Khan, 21, jailed for 16 months for violent disorder.

Today (Thursday, March 20) at Isleworth Crown Court, Judge Dugdale described the incident as a "very serious, prolonged and vicious attack", and jailed Ammir Khan, of Black Rod Close, Hayes, for six years for GBH wounding with intent.

Zammir Khan, of the same address as his brother, and a third co-defendant, 29-year-old Talwinder Sahota, of Lancaster Road, Southall, both admitted to violent disorder and each were sentenced to 16 months imprisonment.

They have all been in custody since October last year and will count as time served.

The men were also initially charged with possession of a handgun with intent to cause fear of violence, but these were dropped.
