Brother in USA reads Observer

It was on May 26, 1982 that my brother Tony emigrated to America and settled in Albuquerque.

IT WAS on May 26, 1982 that my brother Tony emigrated to America and settled in Albuquerque. I have seen him only once in all that time, and that was 17 years ago.

I am happy to announce that on Sunday my husband David and I collected him from the airport and he will be staying with us for a three-week holiday.

He is really excited about this trip. I regularly send him copies of the Harrow Observer, which he always looks forward to receiving as it enables him to keep up with local news.

He was born in Harrow and does get homesick at times.

I know that he would be thrilled to see his name mentioned in his favourite newspaper and also hear from anyone who may remember Tony Braithwaite.
