YOUNG people are being invited to discuss gun and knife crime in Brent during a special meeting.
Strength in Numbers Youth Committee is a group of passionate 16 to 25-year-olds who live in the borough and aim to help other young people realise their potential.
The group is overseen by BrAVA (Brent Association for Voluntary Action), which aims to help the voluntary and community sector in Brent, and is inviting other young people to a forum to debate gun and knife crime.
Davis Williams, youth volunteer co-ordinator at BrAVA, said: "The forum will encourage people to share their concerns about young people and violence and to create realistic solutions. The young people involved in Strength in Numbers are particularly keen to recruit more young people to join the cause and show their support for a safer Brent."
The forum will take place on May 26 from 6pm at Willesden Green Library Centre. Spaces are limited so to reserve your seat email your name to firstname.lastname@example.org
