Rings, watches and other items of jewellery were recovered from a stolen car in Kingsbury.

Police are trying to trace the owner of the items found in a car which was stolen during a burglary at a home in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, on January 2.

It was found four days later in Stewart Close, Kingsbury, and returned to the owner.

However, the owner of the car did not recognise the jewellery which was found inside.

Detective Constable Rebecca March of the Broxbourne Intervention Team said: “We are eager to trace the owners of this jewellery - there were a number of items including rings, necklaces and watches. Anyone who has any information please can they call us on the non-emergency number: 101 quoting reference K1/14/11 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
