A person hit by a train at Edgware Road station this afternoon has died.
The incident at 3:15pm today (July 22) is still causing major delays on the Hammersmith and City, Circle and District lines.
London Ambulance Service was called to the scene but the victim was pronounced dead by a London Air Ambulance doctor.
A spokesman said: "We were called at around 3:15pm to reports of a person under a train at Edgware Road underground station.
"We sent a single responder in a car, two ambulance crews, two duty officers and a medical team from London's Air Ambulance crew in a car. Sadly one person was pronounced dead by the Air Ambulance doctor."
