Police have charged a man following an alleged serious assault in Uxbridge on Thursday, October 16.

Terence McNab, 47, of Cowley Road, Uxbridge, was arrested on Tuesday, October 21 and charged the following day with one count of causing grievous bodily harm.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday, October 23).

Four other men arrested between Friday, October 17 and Monday, October 20 have all been granted police bail until November while investigations continue.

The 49-year-old victim remains in hospital in a critical condition.

A section of Windsor Street between Harris & Hoole coffee shop and NatWest Bank was cordoned off last Friday morning while police officers examined the scene.

Mr McNab was further remanded in custody after his appearance in Uxbridge today and will appear again at Isleworth Crown Court on Wednesday, November 5.
