Reader Sezar Hikmet sent us this amazing picture of a whole forest's worth of timber dumped in The Drive, Ickenham on Wednesday night.
Hillingdon Council officers visited on Thursday but were unable to help because the road is unadopted, meaning the residents are liable for its upkeep. Houses in the street command £1m+ price tags.
But late on Thursday, after an intervention by Hillingdon Council leader Ray Puddifoot, after he was emailed by residents' association secretary Roopa Dewan, council workers turned up to shift the mess.
The Drive Residents' Association chairman Madhu Suchak said: "It was right in the middle of the road and nobody could get through."
Hillingdon Council has been given CCTV images of a suspected vehicle, which its staff are analysing.
