Boy, 10, in hospital after Yiewsley road accident

A 10 year-old boy is in hospital with head injuries after a traffic collision in Yiewsley.

A 10-year-old boy is in hospital with head injuries following a road collision in Yiewsley on Monday evening.

The accident happened in Falling Lane at about 5pm and the boy was airlifted to Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel with 'life-changing' injuries.

His condition was said to have improved.

Falling Lane was closed in both directions at the junction with Appletree Avenue for more than three hours after the accident.

The driver involved stopped, and no arrests have been made.
