Two of the borough's historic pubs have been added to the Famous Grouse Famous Pubs list.

A three month campaign was launched by the The Famous Grouse to find pubs with unique and quirky reasons for their fame.

The Dove in Hammersmith has made the list for being the local watering hole for 18th century poet James Thompson who reputedly wrote the words to Rule Britannia whilst drinking there.

Fulham's Harwood Arms also made the list for being the first and only pub in London with a Michelin star.
