DIVISION ONE NORTH Waltham Forest 4 Hillingdon Boro 1

This bottom of the table clash left Hillingdon rooted along with Witham Town, and their situation is starting to look desperate with both sides now five points adrift of their nearest rivals.

Waltham Forest were far more lively and looked the team most likely to score as they pressed forward from the off, Ben Harris turning an early shot onto a post.

The opening goal came from a free kick which left Joel Palmer free at the back post to easily convert. Although the game flowed from end to end, neither side created much in the way of chances until Waltham increased their lead in the 41st minute.

The goal was similar to their opening effort, but this time Yacine Hamada getting on the end of the free kick..

With half time looming yet another free kick was converted by Spencer Harrison to leave Boro with an uphill battle.

The second half saw Boro produce a much better display.

Sam Warrell had an early shot cleared off the line and after a period of pressure Gerald Kelly got on the end of a sweeping move to convert and reduce the arrears.

As Boro tried to get something from the game they left themselves exposed at the back and Mike Ramkin completed the scoring late on.
