Interest in ‘the Great Boris debate’ has been strong since the Mayor of London showed his hand this week and declared his intention to seek a Parliamentary seat for the 2015 general election campaign.

Immediately the spotlight fell on Uxbridge and South Ruislip, the constituency long since tipped as the safe seat into which Mr Johnson would ‘parachute’.

Whether that parachute jump precedes a long march to Number 10 remains to be seen.

On Thursday, August 7, getwestlondon.co.uk news editor for Uxbridge, Alan Hayes, along with the leader of Hillingdon Council, Ray Puddifoot, and Windsor Street tee-shirt shop owner Scott Balcony, were invited on to Jeremy Vine’s lunchtime show on BBC Radio 2 to discuss all things Boris.
