A healthy food chain is hoping to raise thousands of pounds for a cancer support charity based in Fulham this month.

Crussh Fit Food & Juice Bars have developed three new pink products which it will be selling at its 26 London branches throughout October - which is Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Fifty pence from each sale of the Pink (Beetroot) Organic Soup, Pink Porridge and Pink Nut Milk will go to national breast cancer support charity The Haven.

As well as the three products, Crussh is also directly collecting donations for The Haven across all 26 of its London stores.

The Haven offers a wide range of emotional, physical and practical support which includes complementary therapies, counselling, exercise classes, financial advice and support groups for visitors and their families suffering from breast cancer.

All Haven centres offer nutritional therapy – advising service users of the benefits of how eating healthily can reduce the symptoms and side-effects of breast cancer.

Christopher Fung, Managing Director of Crussh said: “Breast cancer is a cause that we’ve supported for over twelve years, and we are delighted to be able to reintroduce our partnership with The Haven during this year’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“In contrast to previous years, this time we’ve introduced not one, but three new clean, healthy products to our menu.

"With a breakfast, lunch and drink option available, we think that we’ve developed something for every taste.”

The Haven nutritionist Sarah Lumley said: “Crussh have carefully considered the immune-boosting ingredients used to colour their pink products.

"Goji berries are linked to well-being, promoting the happiness emotion and increased sleep levels in people that consume them regularly.

“Raspberries have been found to possess anti-cancer qualities due to their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties – the pink porridge and nut milk deliver a multitude of health benefits due to these two key ingredients.

“The pigment that gives beetroot its deep purple colour has also been found to help in the prevention of certain types of cancer, as well as lowering blood pressure.

"The health benefits of each pink ingredient has been carefully selected to symbolise The Haven – we’d like to say a big thank you to Crussh for putting together such a nutritious menu of products.”
