Professional dancers will kick off Diwali celebrations in Harrow on Saturday when they bring their Bollywood dance moves to St Ann's Shopping Centre.
Diwali, often dubbed the festival of light, is actually set to start on Monday but some of Harrow's most promising dancers are certain to bring in the celebrations a little earlier.
The mall in Harrow town centre will host the dancers from the Sapnay School of Dance for the second successive year - for a half hour performance.
The school, which is based in Kings Road, Rayners Lane, was recently featured on BBC news after they smashed the world record for the largest number of performers to put together a Bollywood dance routine - when they packed out Trafalgar Square in July. And now they are bringing their mix of Bollywood and hip hop-influenced choreography to Harrow when they perform at 1.30pm.
