Hundreds of Bollywood film fans gathered at Feltham Cineworld last night to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars at the world premiere of Love Story 2050.

With the red carpet being laid so close to home, keen cinemagoers queued up for hours in advance anxiously waiting for autographs and pictures. But like any ceremony, the buzzing crowd were made to wait as the cast were nearly an hour late.

"I've never seen anything like it before. The audience were so excited they were shouting, screaming, watching the stars it was brilliant. The stars looked fabulous and everything went so well," said Cineworld employee, Meenakshi Machen.

The demands for premiere tickets was high with many fans facing the invite only clause. Security was tight but polite.

We didnt actually get to see any stars. We were shoved inside [to the screen] because it was very, very busy, said Poppy Ubbi from Hayes.

The film which stars ex-Miss World Priyanka Chopra alongside newcomer Harman Baweja is the first Bollywood movie to experiment with futuristic time travel.

Love Story 2050 releases in cinemas nationwide on July 4. Check out tomorrows lifestyle section for a review.
