It might be nine months away but plans are already in place for the borough's biggest Christmas pantomime.

Television star Linda Robson will play The Wicked Queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs this festive season.

Linda is best known as Tracey Stubbs in the British BAFTA-nominated sitcom Birds of a Feather which was revived and returned to our screens earlier this year.

She has also appeared in Harry’s Game and playing Maggie Moon in Shine On Harvey Moon.

Her other TV roles include Grumpy Old Women, The Bill, Casualty and Crossroads. She has also been a presenter on The One Show and Inside Out. She recently played Michelle in the new Comedy Republic production Barry’s Bucket List for Sky Atlantic.

In addition Linda recorded a radio play for Avalon/BBC4 called Living with Mother.

She recently starred in two movies -the award-winning Anuvahood the portrayal of ‘Lil’ in Outside Bet with Bob Hoskins and Jenny Agutter.

Daryl Back, Artistic Director of One From The Heart and Executive Producer of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, who produced last year’s sell-out pantomime Cinderella at The Beck, said “Linda is one of the most familiar actors of a generation and I am absolutely thrilled that she has agreed to be part of the Hayes pantomime this year.            

"With a live band, spectacular sets, stunning costumes and audience participation aplenty with Linda Robson leading the cast this really will be the fairest panto n all the land!”.

Having been on the stage since the age of eight, Linda’s recent theatre credits include an Australian Tour of A Passionate Woman and The Food Chain at the Royal Court Theatre.

In the West End she played Joe Meeks's landlady in Telstar, following a UK tour, and in 2013 Linda, together with her co-stars Pauline Quirke and Lesley Joseph, toured a sell-out stage production of Birds of a Feather around the UK.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is produced by One From The Heart in association with HQ Theatres & Hospitality, the UK’s second largest regional Theatre Operator.
