Diners could feast on burgers, fries and milkshakes at any time of the day if a franchisee gets his way.

K and G Restaurants wants to open its branch of McDonald’s in Station Road, Harrow, round the clock, seven days a week, to provide food and drinks to the public - which would be the borough’s first 24/7 outlet of the fast good chain.

In order to do so, the North Finchley-based franchising firm has applied to Harrow Council for a premises licence to serve late night refreshments between 11pm and 5am - the only timings for which a licence is actually required.

Food from saver menu at McDonald's

The McDonald’s currently opens between 6am and 10am Sunday to Thursday, and between 6am and midnight Friday and Saturday.

K and G Restaurants also runs the branch in Shaftesbury Circle in West Harrow whose neighbours objected to plans to stay open until 2am.

Most of the restaurant chain’s branches in Brent are open 24 hours a day and even some QPR football players have said they can 'eat at McDonald's every day' because they train so much.
