The staff and children at Vyners School were celebrating the school's best ever A-Level results.

More than a third of students got an A*-A grade and ten boys and girls managed to get all A* and As.

Headteacher James Heale, said: "Everyone is delighted with the school's best ever results.

"We have sent one student to Oxford and one to Cambridge and many others to very prestigious universities. It seems the cast majority got into their first choice."

The school's overall pass rate was 99 per cent, with 79 per cent getting A*-C grades and the overall points score for each pupil stands provisionally at 784.
