Brentford FC striker Montell Moore today denied handling stolen goods but admitted two motoring offences.

The 19-year-old, who has made just one competitive first team appearance for the Bees, appeared at Feltham Magistrates' Court this morning.

He denied handling stolen goods but admitted driving without a licence and driving with no insurance. He was bailed to return for trial over the first matter on March 2. The driving offences will be dealt with after the trial.

Mr Moore, of Kew Bridge Court, Chiswick, was arrested in Chiswick on December 22, the day before his 19th birthday.

He top scored for Brentford FC's youth team last year, earning himself a three-year contract, which he signed last August.

His one competitive first team appearance for the club came in that month's Capital One Cup match against Dagenham and Redbridge, in which he scored once and created three other goals.
