Two men are being sought in connection with the knife attack on a man in a Hayes park.

Hillingdon Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the robbery and assault in Barra Hall Park on June 17 in which a 21 year-old was slashed and stabbed with a knife and robbed.

The two attackers are believed to be in their 20s and both are described as white and approximately 5ft 8ins tall.

One is of a medium build, with short, light brown or blond hair. He wore a black baseball cap and jeans and it is believed that he was in possession of retractable knife.

His accomplice was described as ‘skinny’, with short dark hair.

Following the incident, both men ran off towards Church Road.

The victim, who has not been named, was taken to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, where he was treated for a slash wound to the face and a stab wound to the buttock. He was released from hospital the following day.

Detective Constable Nick Deakin of Hillingdon Police, said: “Whilst we continue to conduct extensive enquiries to locate the suspects, the evidence strongly suggests that this is an isolated incident.”
