I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff and customers of Barclays in Uxbridge and Hillingdon for raising such a phenomenal amount of money since the launch of their campaign to help improve the lives of people affected by cancer in the local area.

More than 3,000 Barclays staff have been involved in all sorts of fundraising, from high street space hopper races to sky dives, dress down days and, of course, our flagship event, the World's Biggest Coffee Morning.

Macmillan is committed to reaching and improving the lives of people affected by cancer.

The money raised, which is hoped to reach £160,000 by the end of the year, will be funding a lead chemotherapy nurse, an essential service in the area.
