A ballet-inspired fitness regime popular with celebrities Rita Ora and Millie Mackintosh has landed in Chiswick.

Barrecore studios is set to open its doors in Turnham Green, next month, which will make it the fourth home for the latest trending workout that combines ballet and exercise.

Founder and CEO Niki Rein is thrilled for the launch in west London, following openings since 2011 in Mayfair, Chelsea and Wimbledon, and is excited to welcome Chiswick residents to the launch on November 15.

barrecore has teamed up with local businesses Sweaty Betty and Highroad House, a hotel and members club on Chiswick High Road to celebrate the launch of the new studio.

Barrecore Chiswick studios to launch classes in November

Ms Rein said: “barrecore is all about community and Chiswick reflects just that - an amazing community of families and local businesses helping the area grow and thrive.

"It’s a beautiful area of London that we cannot wait to be a part of.”

This relatively new form of exercise is a one-hour session which uses a ballet barre, your own body weight as resistance, a playground ball, karate belt, stretch bands, light weights, mats and cushions.

Chiswick residents can join regular ballet-barre classes to work towards a lean 'barre' body in one of the two studio rooms.

The facilities also include a personal training room with reformer pilates equipment, as well as showers and changing facilities.

Ms Rein and a trained team of instructors will take the classes in Chiswick on offer all day and on weekends.

There are different classes available including barrecore mixed, barrecore foundations, barre bands, barrecore dance, barre bump for mums-to-be and many more.
