I would like to make an urgent appeal to triathlon enthusiasts who would like to take part in the London Triathlon on August 9 and 10.

I WOULD like to make an urgent appeal to triathlon enthusiasts who would like to take part in the London Triathlon on August 9 and 10.

The Children's Trust has a few guaranteed places to fill, and I would love to hear from anyone - as soon as possible - who would like to take part in this event and, at the same time,support a very special charity.

By taking part and supporting the Trust you will be raising money for some of the UK's most severely disabled children and helping to enhance their lives.

The Children's Trust is a national charity,which provides care, education and therapy to children with multiple disabilities and complex health needs.

In addition, you may wish to take part in other events taking place later this year: the Adidas Women's Challenge, in London on September 7; the Great North Run and Great South Run in October, and also overseas marathons in Berlin, Chicago and New York in the autumn.
