Boris Johnson's Twitter Q&A took a turn for the hilarious on Wednesday (September 23), as hundreds of joke tweets flooded the Mayor of London's hashtag.

The Mayor takes to the social network once a month to answer questions from the public, sent using the hashtag #AskBoris.

But this week, due to recent allegations about the Prime Minster in Lord Ashcroft's new book, questions turned to mockery, and the jokes led to the Q&A trending on Twitter.
