A new contact point for Ealing police has opened in ASDA Park Royal.

Contact points are managed by the local Safer Neighbourhoods Teams and are for non urgent face to face contact with local police.

Members of the public can speak to their local team about general crime concerns or seek crime prevention advice, as well as book an appointment to speak with a local officer.

Borough Commander, Temporary Chief Superintendent Paul Martin said: “The contact point allows members or the public greater access to police officers with local knowledge, to deal with local issues at a convenient location. They provide a convenient opportunity for communities to speak to their local police face to face and are an alternative to visiting a police station front counter for non urgent issues and provide more choice and flexibility in accessing our services. We are grateful for Asda for supporting community engagement in the area.”

Donna Turner from Asda stores in Park Royal said:”Having the new Ealing contact point in Asda Park Royal adds security to the store. It engages the police and community together, offering safety and legal advice to customers in a more convenient way and promotes opportunities to a cross diversity of people to learn more about their local police service role in the community.”
