A gang of racist thugs who ran amok at the Holiday Inn in Brentford leaving four Asian guests with serious injuries are being hunted by police.
Police are now trawling through CCTV to catch the white yobs who launched their savage attack in the early hours of Saturday morning at the High Street hotel as it hosted a charity dinner for members of the Sri Lankan community.
Det Insp Jeff Minns, of Hounslow CID, said:"This was a completely unprovoked attack, serious injuries being theconsequence for four of the guests and one member of staff.
"The incident is being treated as a racially motivated attack. There are three arrests so far but there will be more."
Some of the partygoers were smoking outside the building at around 1am when five men in their 20s approached. Four of the guests and a member of staff were then subjected to vile racist abuse before being punched and kicked by the gang.
One victim suffered a fractured leg which needs pinning and the joint reinserted, another received a smashed nose which may require plastic surgery, a third ended up with a broken nose and bruising, while two others sustained cuts and severe bruising.
The five thugs, who are believed to live locally, fled the scene. One man was arrested close by and two more arrests were made in the next few hours. Anyone with information is asked to call Hounslow Police on 020 8577 1212 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
