Owing to your obvious support of the incumbent mayor I feel this letter will not see the light of day.
It is becoming more obvious to me how inept Boris Johnson has become as mayor of this great city, every day he seems to go back on his manifesto promises.
He is even getting up the nose of his master's voice, seeing we still have three years of him. I dread them. Apart from breaking his promises to Londoners, his pronouncements on our local council plans have stopped them in their tracks (Gayton Road development, Harrow police station) and tonight showing how uncouth he is to Government ministers, using the f*** expletive numerous times, what will our children learn from this?
No apology? In my opinion he hasn't grown up and he acts like an overgrown schoolboy. When the next election for mayor comes up let's hope we have a candidate of Alan Sugar's stature - at least he'll take the job seriously and work to make London prosperous.
And as far as bringing open-back Routemasters back, he's dreaming it will never happen.
