ANTIQUES, vintage cars and swing dancing were the centre of attention at a fair hosted by Michael Sobell House.

The event on Sunday also featured tea rooms, children's entertainment and hair and beauty makeovers.

It was held in the grounds of Mount Vernon Hospital, in Rickmansworth Road, Northwood, where the sweeping fields provided the perfect setting for the vintage theme.

Hospice business manager David Mosely said: "It was so lovely to see so many of our faithful supporters but I was also delighted to see so many new faces and I hope this is something that will continue."

More than 700 people attended and about £9,000 was raised, which will go towards funding the vital services at the hospice.
