BRITAIN’S Got Talent runner up Andrew Bourn is celebrating coming fourth place in Simon Cowell’s talent competition and is busy planning the next move for swing band Jack Pack.

The 32-year-old, who was born in Ickenham and attended Vyners School in Warren Road, says he is still coming back down to earth.

“It’s a bit weird now that the bubble’s burst and we don’t have the next show to work towards, but we’re super proud,” said the father-of-two.

“We knew that it was going to be a really tough night - the other acts were amazing.

“But we just went out and delivered a decent performance.

“At the end of the day performing was always in me and to go on a stage like that and sing a song like that has always been a dream so it’s a phenomenal achievement personally.”

The four piece, who model themselves as a modern day Rat Pack sang Feeling Good in the final.

“The judges were very complimentary. I came off stage and Simon Cowell said ‘you nailed it’. I was thrilled.”

Since the group’s semi-final performance on Saturday, May 31, they have gone from having 600 to 10,000 Facebook likes and have 20,000 Twitter followers.

“We’re absolutely over the moon and we want to keep engaging with the fans.

“We’ve had people message us from Japan, Germany, America and Eastern Europe.”

Andrew hopes the next step will be recording an album and putting together a full show.

His manager is in talks with record companies.

“The thought of making an album, considering we only started this under a year ago, is unbelievable.”
