Boxing champion and British sporting hero Amir Khan has made a visit to Southall.
The 22-year-old, who is current lightweight champion for the Commonwealth and international lightweight champion for the WBO and WBA, gave a motivational talk to young people at Chaudhry's TKC restaurant in Southall Broadway on Friday.
He was invited there by restaurant manager and friend Dalawar Chaudhry, and stopped in on his way to the Pakistani Acheivement Awards Ceremony in London.
Mr Chaudhry said: "Amir is the ideal role model for our youth and has a positive impact on the youth and on the wider community."
Later that evening Amir was awarded the Star of Pakistan award. Mr Chuadhry was also awarded for his charity and community work.
